A free phone carrier lookup tool helps identify the service provider of a cell phone number. You enter a phone number, and the reverse carrier lookup system shows the name of the provider, whether the number is mobile or fixed, and other network information if available.
You can do a carrier prefix lookup using any search engine, or use HeyLocate’s Free Carrier Lookup by phone number.
You can check this in your phone’s settings. Go to Settings > About phone > Status information > SIM card status > View network operator of a specific SIM card/phone number. Note that this settings’ way this may be slightly different depending on your device. However, you can always use Free Carrier Lookup and check your SIM card carrier just by entering your phone number.
No, you can’t look up a cell phone carrier by IMEI number. The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique identifier for a mobile device, not its service provider. Use the free carrier lookup by phone number instead.
