During my testing, the method worked for screenshotting public Snapchat stories and Spotlight videos. But again, public stories don’t show who took screenshots anyway, even without Airplane mode.

1. Open the Snapchat application and load the story or content you want to save.
2. Access the drop-down menu to turn on Airplane mode.

4. Close Snapchat before turning off Airplane mode.
