So, we decided to check; is there something better or a free Glassagram alternative?

These are the best IG viewers that can be an alternative to Glassagram, although they work differently.

PeekViewer

Peekviewer was founded as the primary Glassagram alternative to replace it. It lets users view any Instagram account without being an Instagram user or following a particular profile.

User Experience:

I had to create an account on PeekViewer and buy a subscription. Further, it worked quite similarly to Glassagram. I could see all the information from the public IG profile without following them.

AccountViewer is an Instagram viewer that allows you to browse IG profiles discreetly and may also grant access to private accounts. HeyLocate was among the first to review AccountViewer, and it proved effective enough to be a good Glassagram alternative.

User Experience:

AccountViewer operates online, without installation, but through subscription. The service is rather new, but it clearly aims to be as effective as Glassagram once was, and it shows promise in this regard.

The process of viewing Instagram with AccountViewer is straightforward: create an account, complete the payment, and enter the IG username you want to view. Accessing a private account requires some patience and time, sometimes more than a week or two. Nevertheless, the testing by HeyLocate proved it works. You will see the report with Insta content of the target user on your online dashboard.

AccountViewer vs. Glassagram

In comparison to Glassagram, AccountViewer is twice as expensive. Moreover, it requires additional payment for every next IG profile you want to monitor. However, consider the shortage of such services on the market and the fact that AccountViewer really works. Those who really need it can calculate their budget and choose the cheapest 12-month plan.

User Experience:

mSpy gave me insight into my child’s private Instagram activity. Once installed, it hid in the background but transmitted the phone’s Instagram data onto an online dashboard.

mSpy monitored the Instagram account’s direct messages, posts, reels, and Instagram stories. The app took screenshots of the account’s activities, allowing me to see what my child was doing.

User Experience:

The service appears to be designed with user accessibility in mind. While its primary function is viewing stories, it also allows access to the broader content of Instagram accounts: followers, following, likes, etc.

For private profiles, however, access isn’t immediate and requires some waiting. The platform doesn’t reveal its methods for accessing those profiles, but it does this, and this is the main thing.

During our testing of the Anonymous Story Viewer, we also had to reach out to support for assistance, which proved effective. It’s also essential to have such help during this scrupulous process.

The service is just gaining momentum, so its effectiveness varies. Against this backdrop, the price, which is twice as high as Glassagram’s, seems unjustified, even though the service works.

User Experience:

xMobi was easy to use since it arranged screenshots in chronological order thus, I could see the recent activities first. Besides, xMobi could record searches on Instagram, which helped me see various interactions with people on the app.

Nonetheless, xMobi gives you instant access to a private Instagram account once installed, but you must wait at least 7 days to view private Instagram with Glassagram.

uMobix social media monitoring software offers complete access to a private Instagram account on Android and iOS. The app is discrete, as it sees private Instagram stories without worrying about being caught. For it to work, uMobix requires installation as well.

User Experience:

I used uMobix’s Instagram viewing feature to see an Instagram profile without an account but with installation on the target device. The app showed DMs, likes, comments, followers, and what they were sharing on Instagram.

uMobix updated every 5 seconds, making it easier to view private Instagram activities in real-time.

uMobix sends private Instagram data to an online dashboard every few seconds, but Glassagram syncs data anywhere from a few minutes to hours. uMobix is excellent for real-time private Instagram tracking, unlike Glassagram, which can miss stories if it takes more than 24 hours to sync the data.

After setting up an Eyezy, I used the Social Spotlight feature to view private Instagram messages, likes, comments, followers, reels, and stories in the form of screenshots.

Eyezy updated the dashboard every 15 minutes. Therefore, it provided a realistic view of activities as they happened.

Review of Free Glassagram Alternatives

We also tried to find some free Glassagram alternatives, as there are some services that claim to allow you view private IG accounts for free. Let’s see whether they work.

Inflact

This service was the first one that the search engine showed me for my request, “private Instagram viewer,” as it uses such a term on its page. Does it work?

User Experience:

Obviously, by “private IG tool,” Inflact means that it lets you surf Instagram privately. When I tried to access the private IG profile, the service notified me, “The profile is private and is not available in viewer. We respect privacy. Only public content is available. Please use the viewer for public accounts.”

Inflact is a good service with various tools for inspecting Instagram accounts, but it can’t be compared with Glassagram fully. We are searching for an alternative for the main unique feature of viewing private IG accounts, and Inflact can’t do that.

Instaview/Instalooker

Instaview claims it’s the best private Instagram viewer to view any Instagram account safely and legally.

User Experience:

Instaview required a simple click on the [SPY NOW] button. Once I entered the desired private Instagram username, the platform required human verification by completing a survey.

Nonetheless, I could not get past this step, and therefore I could not use this service to view a private Instagram account.

While Instaview is a free tool, you don’t get access to a private Instagram account.

On the other hand, Glassagram requires payment but does its job and prolongs your subscription according to the days you wait for the access to a private Instagram account.

InstaSpy

The original InstaSpy website (instaspy.pro) does not appear to exist or to be working anymore. There are sites that came up with the InstaSpy query, such as igspy.click and invisispy.com/prispy, but they do not return results for private Instagram profiles.

The latter even claims to be an AI-based private Instagram viewer for viewing private Instagram accounts for free, but here’s our test of it.

User Experience:

After waiting for a few seconds for the service to load information of the private Instagram account, I had to complete verification by either taking a survey or answering questions.

I took the survey, but I still could not access content from the private Instagram account.

InstaSpy vs. Glassagram

InstaSpy is free, but it does not unlock a private Instagram account. Hence, Glassagram is the ideal option when you really want to view a private Instagram account using an online platform and ready to pay for a quality service.

Gwaa states that it can see private Instagram photos and videos anonymously through its private Instagram viewer.

User Experience:

During my test, Gwaa worked in two ways. If start with the main page, it sent me to instablogs.net site first and then… to Glassagram!

When I started from https://gwaa.net/instagram-hack/, like with the other free private Instagram viewers, I could not get past the human verification stage.

Gwaa can’t be a Glassagram-free alternative, as it seems like it is now an affiliate of Glassagram, admitting that this service does its job better.

The Private Photo Viewer platform claims to be a private Instagram viewer that can access media and stories from private and public accounts.

User Experience:

When I used Private Photo Viewer, the platform could verify the account I wanted to see, but could not retrieve media on the account. Again, it was impossible to verify that I was human using available methods, like completing a survey.

Private Photo Viewer does not access private Instagram accounts, thus, you are better off using Glassagram to view media and stories on a private Instagram account.

IMGLookup states that it’s the only private Instagram viewer that works.

User Experience:

IMGLookup had a promising start by showing that it was checking the account on all available servers. Nevertheless, it showed a bot-like behavior popup that I could not get past.

Therefore, it was unable to show any information about the private Instagram account I had provided.

IMGLookup vs. Glassagram

IMGLookup does not live up to its claim. That’s why I recommend Glassagram, even though it takes up to several days to display media from a private Instagram account.

We didn’t include any of those that claim to be free private Insta viewers as none of them worked.

Conclusion

As Glassagram no longer works, Peekviewer is its new and best alternative.

The parental control apps like mSpy that can see private Instagram profiles without following work only through installation on the device of the IG account.

Meanwhile, the online services that claim to view private Instagram accounts for free — aka free Glassagram alternative — do not work altogether. Usually, when they claim to be “a private IG viewer,” they mean that you stay private but don’t allow viewing private profiles.
